No brainer. Thomas will go in the first round. This is the elite of the elite, with a staggering 78% completion rate. After McCaffrey and Saquon, Michael Thomas is your best bet. #3 pick overall. Confidently take him and be proud. Brees is back and they will score buckets of points all year long. Upgraded in PPR.
Auction Max: 35% of budget.
Davante Adams (GB)
Adams is the premier catcher from the mad lad himself; Aaron Rodgers. A gifted wide out none the less. Adams could be worthy of a late first round snag. Depending on the number of teams in your league. A value grab in the second round. One of the most consistent forms of points every Sunday averaging 133 targets over the last 4 seasons with a 65% completion rate. Without injuries, Adams is an elite WR and worthy of a late first round pick. Slightly upgraded in PPR.
Auction Max: 28% of budget.
Deandre Hopkins (ARI)
The only worrisome issue is the new team, the new QB, and a whole new organization. But I trust Hopkins. An elite tier WR regardless of who’s throwing the ball, in my opinion. He’s proven that with some of the most insane catches since Randy Moss played the game and Kyler Murray has proven to, at least, not suck. Hopkins is a steal in the second round.
Auction Max: 28% of budget.
Tyreek Hill (KC)
The cheetah will be a stud again. Mahomes is the best QB in an entire generation. And Hill’s speed is unmatched. I expect some hiccup weeks but the booms will more than make up for it. KC has one of the most explosive offenses in the league. Draft Hill for extreme value in the second round. Upgraded in Standard Scoring.
Auction Max: 24% of budget, 30% in Standard Scoring.
Julio Jones (ATL)
Jones has consistently been a top 8 WR for like, ever. A completely viable WR1. I don’t have the most confidence in Matt Ryan since his dramatic super bowl loss. Which I don’t think he’s been the same since. Still, draft Jones in the second round for great value.
Auction Max: 26% of budget.
Mike Evans (TB)
Can’t say Evan’s value goes down with the addition of Tom Brady. Gronk could take away some receptions, but I don’t care. Gronk will likely get injured anyways. I like Evans over Godwin. Worthy of a second round draft choice as your WR1. Great value in the third.
Auction Max: 24% of budget.
Kenny Golladay (DET)
Amazing growth player. Golladay has become the clear-cut #1 target for Stafford. Averaging almost 10 yards per target. Golladay is a great WR1. If Stafford is healthy, this will be consistent points every week. Scoop him up late in the second, value in the third.
Auction Max: 23% of budget.
Odell Becham Jr (CLE)
It seems Becham Jr has come down to reality. His first few seasons had him as an elite top 3 WR. He’s still great, just not that great. Easily a top 10 wide out. Becham Jr could definitely serve as your WR1 and is worthy of a third round pick with extreme value in the fourth. Be confident this is the most talented player in Cleveland.
