Value Doctor: Three RB’s for Cheap

There is value everywhere! Even at the RB position, the hardest, most expensive place to find efficiency. A few RB’s have fallen extremely low on the rankings and projected to go in much later rounds or for a relatively cheap auction price. Low cost for low risk and potential major scores. A precision striker in a draft can snipe the opportunity and secure great picks at a great price. Here are three players you should keep a keen eye on, including my ratings and explanations for each:

·         Todd Gurley (ATL)Buy

Over the last two years, the once fantasy football great has fallen from the #1 overall draft and RB1 choice all the way down to an average draft position of #32, or RB16 average. Gurley was released from LAR last year and signed a one-year deal with ATL this offseason, as he struggled with some knee injuries. I consider Matt Ryan an upgrade from Jared Goff. I believe ATL offense still has some juice left with Ryan and Julio active and producing points. There is no real competition for Gurley, as the backup RB Ito Smith is not yet on that level. The rest have not shown anything for us to gauge. Gurley offers RB2 production floor with RB1 upside potential, including realistic top five potential. Expectations are so low, your league may allow you to pay bottom dollar for him.
